Tattoo Without Wiping Off The Stencil

It is important to prevent wiping off the stencil.

Tattooing is an art form that requires a high level of skill and experience. For beginners, it may be difficult to wipe away excess tattoo ink without removing the stencil entirely. If the stencil is rubbing away, you may be using the wrong tools and methods. Use the right materials and techniques to ensure that the stencil stays on for the entire process.

Instructions

1. Shave the area to be tattooed.

2. Clean the area with rubbing alcohol.

3. Apply a small amount of Dettol or similar antiseptic soap after the rubbing alcohol has dried. Press your stencil firmly over the area with a paper towel. Make sure the skin is still moist from the Dettol when applying the stencil.

4. Let the stencil dry completely. Depending on the size, it can take anywhere from five to 15 minutes.

5. Coat the stencil in a thin layer of Vaseline.

6. Start from the bottom of the stencil and work your way up. Beginning from the bottom will minimize the need to wipe away excess parts of the stencil.

7. Blot away the ink instead of rubbing or wiping it vigorously.
