Packing all of the key features of the desktop version, the mobile version of Microsoft Word makes it easy to create and edit documents on your mobile device. The features such as bullets and numbering, italics, bold, underlining and paragraph alignment ensure that you'll have all of the tools needed to create professional documents from your mobile device.
Instructions
Basic Functions and Editing
1. Open the Word Mobile Icon from the Office Mobile Suite located in the "Programs" menu on your Windows Mobile device.
2. Use Word Mobile's explorer menu to browse for documents currently stored on your mobile device or create a new document by selecting "New"---located at the bottom left of the screen.
3. Select "View" and then "Zoom" to page's zoom settings (between a 50 and 200 percent zoom).
4. Use the editing toolbar---located directly above the "View" heading---to add effects to your font like bold, italics and underline.
5. Use the paragraph alignment buttons--located next to the bold, italics and underline buttons---to justify your text to the right, left or center of the page.
6. Use the numbering and bullet buttons at the far right of the editing toolbar to divide your text into number points or bullets.
Copy and Paste
7. Highlight the text you want to copy with your stylus or onscreen cursor for non-touch screen devices.
8. Press and hold your stylus/cursor against the selected text, and select "Copy" from the menu that appears--or press "Crtl" and then "C" on your device's QWERTY keyboard.
9. Click your stylus or cursor in the area where you want to paste your selection. Press and hold your stylus against the screen and select "Paste" from the menu that appears---or press "Crtl" and then "V" on your device's keyboard.
Formatting and Saving
10. Select the "Menu" heading in the bottom right corner of Word Mobile. Click "Format" and then select "Font" to set the size and color of your font.
11. Select "Menu," "Format" and then "Paragraph" to set the alignment and indentation of your text.
12. Select "Menu," "File" and then "Save As" to browse for a location on your mobile device to save your document.
