Seal Vinyl Graphics

Vinyl graphics are commonly used in a variety of different applications. Many business use vinyl on their exterior windows in order to draw in customers, while those who want to add flair to their vehicles often install vinyl graphics on their back windows. If installed incorrectly, vinyl graphics can easily peel and disintegrate in inclement weather. One of the best ways to ensure your vinyl graphic stays intact is to use a vinyl sealer pen. Vinyl sealer pens are inexpensive, fast-working and easy to use.

Instructions

1. Ensure the surface where you wish to apply your vinyl graphic is clean and clear of any dust and debris. Even a small amount of dust will inhibit the graphic's ability to adhere to the surface.

2. Apply the vinyl using manufacturer's instructions.

3. Prime the sealer pen by pressing the tip of it on a flat piece of cardboard for at least 15 seconds.

4. Carefully follow the outline of the vinyl graphic, holding the pen so sealer is applied to both the graphic and the surface it is on. Work in slow, even strokes, using a good amount of pressure on the application tip to ensure a steady flow of adhesive. If adhesive flow gets interrupted, repeat the previous step. Continue until you have traced the entirety of the graphic.

5. Allow to dry for approximately 60 minutes. Check the seal for integrity and spot-patch any areas that seem to need extra adhesive.
