Instructions For The Paasche Tgtalon

The Paasche TG-Talon can be used for car detailing.

The Paasche TG-Talon is a handheld airbrush that delivers a high level of control and a smooth paint stroke. This device is used by hobbyists, graphics artists and people who want to add detail in their painting. Operate your TG-Talon by connecting the air supply and air brush, holding the device with your finger on the trigger, setting the pressure regulator, releasing the air inside, creating fine lines with no heavy ends, controlling color concentration and creating stippling effects.

Instructions

1. Set up your Paasche TG-Talon by holding it in the same way as you would hold a pen with your index finger over the finger button. Connect the air hose to the air brush and to the air supply. If you are using a pressure regulator, set the pressure to between 20 and 55 pounds per square inch.

2. Operate your airbrush by pressing on the finger button to release the air inside. Control the quality of the color by pulling back on the button. To create a fine line with no heavy ends, start spraying a color, move your airbrush while constantly spurting the same color, stop spraying the color where you want the end to be and continue the motion of your airbrush after the color has ended. Practice spraying lines until you are good at it.

3. Know that vanishing effects and color concentration at the beginning and end of your stroke are controlled by how fast you move your airbrush while spraying. For detailed spraying, keep your airbrush close to the surface, push down on the finger button and slowly pull the trigger back to release a small amount of paint. For background work and to create broad effects, hold the airbrush away from the surface and drag on the finger button.

4. Create stippling effects by removing the air cap. Press down on the trigger and pump it forward and backward. Adjust your air pressure to between 10 and 50 PSI.
