Use The Wacom Sketch Pad

A Wacom sketch pad is a computer drawing pad that allows an artist, graphic designer or anyone that enjoys art to draw with a pencil and pad rather than using the mouse. The pad comes with a pen for drawing. It is about the size of a regular pencil and can draw on the pad without leaving marks or damage. The pad is compatible with drawing software like Photoshop or Corel Painter.

Instructions

1. Connect the pad to the computer. The sketch pad is connected through a USB cable, which connects on one side to the pad and the other to a computer USB drive.

2. Start a drawing software program by opening the software and opening a new page. Open a new page by selecting "File" and then "New."

3. Hold the Wacom sketch pad on your lap or set it on a table. The sketch pad is similar to a sketchbook in size and shape, so the way it is held or placed depends on personal preference.

4. Use the pen that comes with the pad to draw. The computer mouse is used to select items on the screen while the pen is used on the pad like a sketchbook. Draw the picture according to personal preferences. Watch the computer screen rather than the sketch pad while drawing to see the picture.

5. Draw lines with a steady hand on the pad. Any shaking will show up on the computer screen.
