Hugh Hefner first published "Playboy" magazine in 1953. Since then, a number of women, including many celebrities (such as Marilyn Monroe and Drew Barrymore), have posed for "Playboy" pictorials. Additionally, "Playboy" has published the stories and poems of many famous writers, such as Ian Fleming and Vladimir Nabokov. "Playboy" has also regularly featured interviews with such diverse public figures as Dr. Martin Luther King, Yasser Arafat and Ayn Rand. While "Playboy" makes some of these features available on its website, you might need to purchase back issues of the magazine to find some content.
Instructions
1. Navigate to the Playboy Store website (see Resources).
2. Click on the "Magazines" link in the top menu bar. Click on the "Back Issues" link in the left-hand column of the "Magazines" page.
3. Click on the decade in which "Playboy" published the back issue you wish to purchase. You can find the list of decades in the left column of the "Back Issues" page.
4. Click on the issue you wish to purchase to open up the "Details" page for that issue. Click the "Add to Shopping Bag" button in that issue's "Details" page.
5. Enter your user name and password to begin the checkout process. Click the "Quick Checkout" button if you have not registered an account with Playboy's online store.
6. Enter your billing information and shipping information on the "Billing and Shipping" page. This page will also require you to create a user name and password. Click the "Continue" button to proceed. Click "Continue" again on the confirm billing and shipping address page.
7. Pick a shipping option by checking a box next to one of the choices in the menu provided on the "Shipping Method" page. Enter any promotional codes or gift card codes. Click "Continue" to proceed.
8. Enter your credit card number, card CVN (security code) number and expiration date in the boxes provided on the "Review & Submit" page. Click the "Submit Order" button to process your purchase.
