Paint Graffiti Flowers

Flowers can be depicted as they are in nature or with substantial creative license.

Graffiti are the drawings, often seen in words and text, which are applied to buildings, walls, trains and even billboards by spray paint. Viewed as both a nuisance and an art form, graffiti art can be as realistic or subjective as the artist desires. A graffiti flower will usually be displayed in bright, vibrant colors and can be as complex or as simple as the artist's skill or taste creates. Even basic, silly or cartoonlike drawings are appropriate as forms of graffiti art and can be appreciated as beautiful creations.

Instructions

1. Sketch the type of flower you want to depict on paper to clarify the design before using the paint on the wall. The flower can be complex and detailed, with shadowing, shading and intricate details, or it can simply be a basic outline of a cartoon flower shape.

2. Choose a color for the outline of the flower.

3. Spray the paint on the wall to draw the outline of the flower shape.

4. Fill in the petals, center of the flower and flower stem with spray paint.

5. Add bright or dark highlights to the drawing, for example, add dark-colored shadows around the petals to make them pop.
