In Austin the family-owned and operated retailer Tex-Guns has been selling firearms and supplies since 1983. The shop is known for its excellent selection of firearms and while small, Tex-Guns has a reputation for fair prices that can stand up to their larger competitors.
DFW Gun Range
Hunters in the Dallas-Fort Worth region of Texas can purchase guns and ammo and take education and safety classes at the DFW Gun Range. In addition to gun, ammunition and accessories, DFW provides education for concealed handgun licensing, hunting, personal defense, rifle/carbine/shotgun classes and security officer classes. If you aren't ready to buy, you can rent guns for practice at the shooting range. You can't miss the DFW Gun Range building, which has a large bulls eye target painted over the front door.
