Stencil Tattoos

Tattoo stencils are placed onto skin as a reference point to apply tattoos, allowing artists to create any design on stencil paper. Only professionals should apply tattoos, though they will accept designs you provide to them. Experts are licensed to own the cleanest equipment necessary for applying the tattoo. Almost all tattoo artists use a stencil for their design because few are able to freehand a design on to a person's skin.

Instructions

1. Draw a design on a piece of paper in black ink or felt. If using a felt, wait for it to dry.

2. Place tracing paper over the design and trace the design with a dark pen.

3. Remove the brown paper from between the pages of your stencil paper and throw it out. Place the traced design on the stencil paper and tape it on.

4. Trace firmly over the stencil paper again to create a carbon copy on the stencil paper. The more firm you press, the darker the design will appear on the stencil paper.

5. Lift up the white paper to reveal your design underneath.
