Tips For The Paasche Vl3

The Paasche VL3 is an airbrush system used to apply paint to anything from model cars to T-shirts. Heeding a few specific tips and instructions will help you get the most out of your airbrush, prolonging its life and increasing your options.

Different Tips

While airbrushing you can use different sized tips. These adjust the amount of paint that comes out of the Paasche VL3. The tips come in different shapes and sizes, which is helpful when you want to cover a large area or just need to make a few small dots. The tips are available at the same location where you purchased the equipment.

Clean

Clean the Paasche VL3 after every use. The airbrush is going to become corroded with paint if it is never cleaned and the old paint may alter the color of any new designs. There is a cleaning mixture made specifically for airbrush pens and sold in the same stores as the airbrush.

Mix Paint

Increase the number of colors you can use to paint by mixing colors. Although it is always possible to purchase just about any shade from your local arts and craft store, doing so is rather expensive, especially when you can mix two colors you have to obtain the desired look.

Make Enough Paint

The worst thing that can happen after you have mixed paint is to run out while in the middle of a design. It is almost possible to recreate the exact color. Your original color used a specific amount of several different colors, and unless you write down the exact ratios of each color you are not going to create the same hue. Mixing more paint than you think you are going to need is always a good idea.
